Lakeshore Mold & Die LLC was founded in 1995 to service the Die Cast and injection molding industries, building and servicing molds. We later evolved to servicing product developers, quality groups, and prototype requirements with fixtures and gages, and began using our strengths in 3D modeling to offer test fixtures, special machine fixtures, end of arm tooling, and press components. Many of our customers are tier one suppliers to the auto makers. We also serve the aerospace, power generation, and defense industries. Typical materials used are 6061 Aluminum, Cast Jig plate, P-20, H-13, 4150, Titanium, and Inconel.
A typical project begins with a Request for Quote form from a customer, including a 3D model of the shape they’d like us to design tooling around. We then create a 3D concept for their review as part of the quote process. Upon receipt of the order a complete 3D model is submitted to the customer for approval, and a delivery date is established. This process has contributed to a very high rate of on-time delivery, customer satisfaction and first piece approval.
